Are these dedicated server specs any good – should I get this hosting plan?

I’m not too good with computer hardware so I would appreciate if you guys can tell me if the following server specs are good enough to host a very popular site (with hundreds of thousands of visits a month).

Dedicated Server Specs:

Processor – Single Processor Dual Core Opteron 1212 – 2.00GHz – 2 x 1MB cache

RAM – 2 GB DDR2 667

Uplink Port Speed – 100 Mbps Public & Private Networks

Bandwidth – 2000 GB Bandwidth

IPV4 Adresses – 4

Hard Drive- 250GB SATA II

Operating System – CentOS 5 (64 bit)

Also should I get the 64 bit CentOS or the 32 bit? I’m looking for speed and security.

I have everything I think I need as far as hardware is concerned. I have the processor, mobo, RAM, vid card, etc. I have a 10,000 RPM SATA harddrive with about 50 Gigs of space.

Now here are my questions:
1. Will i need more than 1 harddrive to host multiple servers?
2. If not, how do I config the harddrive to accomodate multiple servers?Do I need to partition?
3. Will I need a router even though the servers are a part of one machine?

I am running my magazine website but it is slow loading and server seems down every now and then, i could not browse many times. I want unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space, fast and secure web host or reseller in India. Becouse, i don’t have paypal account or master card etc. I have to pay in Indian National Rupee. Can anyone suggest?

I know Godaddy is good, but I’m researching alternatives in terms of price, disk/bandwidth, and services. I don’t need any of the typical e-commerce stuff…just a good overall package. Also, the availability of dedicated server packages with the availability of admin access is also good.
